Joe Charman - workshop

We were pleased to welcome recently Joe Charman, an artist from Essex, to our art group. Using the subject of Buttermere in the Lake District, in this all day workshop he showed and explained to us how he approaches painting using acrylic, encouraging us all to use large canvasses, draw freely and use large brushes with a limited palette.This very short video of our finished pieces, will go some way to show how well the day went.​​​​
